PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY: The Broadcast Producer is responsible for managing TV and/or Digital Content productions through delivery. They are also responsible for meeting the needs and expectations of the client, creative and account departments. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: â€¢Manages and oversees TV productions as assigned. â€¢Consults with creative team from early concept stages to ensure best possible creative and production methods are taking place. â€¢Sources and evaluates quality vendors to ensure the best possible production and creative are being supported with the best possible resources â€¢Evaluates, solicits bids from, and negotiates with production companies judged to be best qualified to handle the particular projects at hand. â€¢Ensures all proposed creative ideas can be produced within the given client timeframe and budgets â€¢Manages all resources on a given project and interfaces with client as needed as it relates to broadcast/content â€¢Updates Account, Business Affairs, and Creative Directors in all aspects of production â€¢Controls the approved budget through all phases of production. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: â€¢Demonstrates strong organizational, communication and negotiating skills; can manage multiple projects â€¢Strong understanding of content production through delivery â€¢Works well under pressure and maintains high quality of work that supports the creative work. â€¢Basic knowledge of current AICP/AICE bidding guidelines and basic knowledge of SAG guidelines â€¢Resourceful with strong creative problem solving skills â€¢Independent minded and goal oriented personality MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: â€¢Bachelorâ€™s degree or equivalent experience preferred. â€¢Three to five years of proven experience with commercial production, or related field. â€¢Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities.
