Job description Moguldom Media Group is searching for a talented generalist with strong knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, customer acquisition, retention strategies, newsletter strategy, PR, social media trends, web analytics and related technologies. The Audience Development Manager, UK will grow European audience size, engagement and reach for Moguldom’s portfolio of web properties—including Bossip, MadameNoire, StyleBlazer, HipHopWired, AFKSports, AFKInsider, AFKTravel, etc. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: •Identify content marketable to UK/European readership and execute publishing to appropriate Moguldom site(s) •Develop relationships with European editors and publishing organizations •Manage UK and European based freelancers to create effective content to market and grow audience globally •Report on key performance indicators and present effectively to senior management •Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and technologies to grow site traffic and online presence •Work closely with Editors, Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, and Paid Discovery team to appropriately market directly to UK and European based readership. •Work closely with Sr. Marketing Manager to provide weekly and monthly recaps and actionable steps to improve business •Stay current with new trends and best practices of traffic-driving platforms and offerings •Regularly audit and assess strategy with a goal to continually innovate the audience development of sites •Effectively translate and understand the nuances of American/US dialogue to make content universally relevant to UK audiences •Source and cultivate new and existing digital partnerships across the UK and European media and research industry for audience acquisition •Collaborate with team to ensure strategic marketing objectives are in line with digital marketing best practices and corporate goals •Able to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities, while executing projects in a fast-paced and high pressure environment Desired Skills and Experience •2-3 years experience in a digital audience development role •A proven track record delivering audience growth and increased value from our users •A focus on data analysis and testing to support product audience development strategy •Knowledge of web analytics, metrics and tools/platforms such as Google Analytics •Ability to synthesize data/results, identify trends/key findings to assist in achieving clients' marketing and communications objectives •Exceptional math, analytical & problem solving skills •Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail •Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time efficiently •Self-starter, eager to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility •Ability to work in teams and/or individually to meet client goals •Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with Powerpoint and Word •Excellent communication and presentation skills •Passion for digital media and related technology and innovation •Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
