We are seeking a Web Producer to join the Sky IQ Insight On Demand team to provide content management and support across our Insight Platforms. Reporting to the Self-Serve Operations Manager, the Web Producer will be responsible for the effective management and publication of content across Sky’s Insight Platforms including; managing user permissions, meta-data tagging, cross-linking, web stats reporting, supporting users and developing training materials. Key responsibilities will include: •Managing all service requests to agreed SLAs and implementing SharePoint user permissioning for content across our Insight platforms. •Timely and effective management, proofing, relevant categorisation and publication of all content for the Insight Platforms using SharePoint. •Day-to-day management of the SharePoint metadata schema. •Constantly improving the search engine performance using SEO and keyword/synonym and ranking tools. •Supporting content providers in using publishing tools and optimising their content. •Production and basic analysis of stats showing usage of the Insight Platforms. •Supporting the Editorial Manager in the delivery of e-newsletters. •Any other ancillary tasks required to deliver Sky’s insight platforms. For the role, we would be looking for you to demonstrate the following skills and experience: •Considerable experience managing/supporting an intranet, corporate website or portal in fast paced commercial environment. •Enterprise CMS experience is essential, SharePoint experience is highly desirable. •Experience producing reports with third-party web analytics tools, preferably Adobe SiteCatalyst. •Experience of newsletter creation software, Exact Target an advantage. •Demonstrable HTML, CSS and image editing skills. •An understanding of information management/knowledge management techniques and search engine optimisation. •Experience in supporting the creation and management of training materials and screencasts. •Excellent organisational and time management skills: ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
